Welcome to the teachers area.

Welcome to the Learn About Arabia website. Since it was launched earlier in 2004 we have been swamped with positive comments about the site from teachers all over the UK, and the site has now received NGFL approval.

The aim of the site is to make people more aware of what everyday life is like in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and as such this section of the website contains a series of downloadable worksheets, interactive games and ideas to stimulate debate in the classroom. The activities are, where possible, linked to the National Curriculum/QCA requirements, and are supported with teacher's notes to help guide you through the ideas.

The plan is to regularly add resources slowly onto the site over the coming years, and as always we welcome your input and ideas. Please do get in touch with us via the feedback form, and let us know what you think. Better still, why not pop along and visit our stand at the BETT show at Olympia in January 2005, the Education Show in Birmingham in March, and at the GA conference in Derby in March/April.

Many of you have requested posters for displays in the classroom and now two new posters are now available. The posters are designed to not only be visually strong, but also to support learning in your classroom. Please contact Jennifer Zulfiqar at info@exploresaudiarabia.com if you wish to receive each of these posters.

Enjoy the website.
